How does your computer connect to the internet? (POLL)

We use a wi-fi router at my house.

The router is connected to the telephone line and my pc is directly connected to the router with an ethernet cable.

I'm connected to my stepdad's internet via something involving an ethernet cable straight into the wall. It really sucks when he's doing that thing that begins with"t" and ends with "ing" and has an "e" someplace in it, because my internet goes super slow then. Yet he refuses to get another modem/router >.>GHlegend77

wireless router FTW :D

Wireless but Im literally 5 feet away from my router so I could use ethernet. My xbox/ps3 are connected by ethernet.

A wired wireless router. I have no use for wireless, but my sister does.

by transmitting a series of high and low voltages along a wire to computers which are not my own. for purposes of this poll though. my main pc is wired to a wireless router, my chick's desktop is wireless, my laptop is wireless, my chick's laptop is wireless, my wii is wireless and my tivo is wireless.

I have a dual wired/wireless router; wired is my computer and Xbox 360, while wireless is my Wii.

Atm my computer is connected straight to the modem but I'm getting a laptop and Wi-fi soon my laptop and PS3 will be connected through that.
