If your car is bad in the snow, you either have to stay off the roads or get a better car. Most front-wheel drive cars will do just fine after the streets have been plowed.
Well if 1 inch of snow falls, the schools will close. I don't really know if it's for safety reasons, or if it's because snow is so rare and beautiful down here.
Horribly. People look at it with a "WTF?" face on. Then you get your random asshats that think they know how to handle driving in the snow. I just sit on my porch and have a good laugh.
Pretty well I think. Schools here are closed if the janitor can't shovel his way to the front door and open it. Which means it has to be a couple of metres with snow before schools here close.
Where i live,We are lucky if we get a few centimeters of snow for a week in winter. Although those places where it does snow alot, gets plowed regularly, most norwegians know how to handle snow properly.
...Sigh* Not to much chance for my school to shut down because of snow then...
