How fast do you type?

1 key per minute. i just copy and paste words cause i type so slow.RPG-er

Gave it a shot on my laptop, first try 117, but the laptop's old so the cursor lag killed my accuracy. A second try here, little better - I'll do it on my desktop tomorrow after cl ass should be able to show you what 120 wpm+ with 98%+ looks like (my usual typing speed).

Yeah, I knew you would be fast :D And laptops are ergonomically harder to type on so you ought to be alot faster with a desktop setup. 32000 KSPH :o.

80 WPM, 100% accuracy. So my guess was 100% accurate. :P

I gave it one more "college try" - it gives you a different piece of text every time, it would seem, and yet I keep mistyping on things I should not have missed by one or two letters in total. Bah.

There are about 7 or 8 passages that it cycles through so it is very possible for anyone to do this over and over and become flawless at it. My first try I believe I got 65wpm and around 70 or so a few passages later. If anyone can find a similar online test, feel free to post it.

That means that I could write a 4,000 word paper in 18.9 minutes!!! In light of this new information, I will only allocate myself a maximum of 20 minutes for each essay I write from now on.

Its because I got that score because Im the type that looks at the keys and the screen when typing so I see where my fingers go, if I learned to not have to look down Id type faster but my accuracy wouldnt be as good.

100 percent accuracy at 73 words per minute. I probably could've gone faster if I didn't instinctively go back and correct every word I misspelled :P

I took a keyboarding cIass at school I remember bieng pretty good, and we did really long paragraphs and we went by "GWAM" and some people would get in the hundreds.

Last year when I was in keyboarding, the highest I ever got was about 132. I used to use the comp a lot more frequently than I do now, and so I top out around 100 for the time being. Funny thing is, I type incorrectly. Instead of using every finger on my hands, I use every finger on my left hand, and only my index finger on my right hand.

As for a screenshot, I don't really care enough to go through the effort of practicing a few min for that and then saving and uploading a pic.

I give up, did like half the first line... typing things fast from inside your head is a lot easier than typing and reading at the same, that's just gunna show an even slower speed than your reading speed.Brainkiller05

That total accuracy on the bottom is crap if you're getting 5 percent accuracy per finger. Photoshop the top out and spam it everywhere.
