gamestop or gamespot? I don't think it'd take much to go to a gamestore and be a part-time employee.

Not hard at all? The place does not require some elite knowledge of video games to work there. Just go fill out an app. If they are hiring chances are you'll get a call. If you brought a resume into Gamestop chances are they'd call you over-qualified and show you the door. Its a minimum wage job designed for teens/younger college kids.

You just have to be a sales man. They don't care if you know a good game from a bad game they want to you to be able to sell a game. So you can look someone in the eye and say you won't get this game unless you pre order. WHen you know they will be able to walk in teh store and buy it even if they don't pre order.

Any game that has a pre order isn't going to make much profit. Management would want you too attach a strategy guide or some other accessory to the game. Selling stuff people come into a store for easy. You have to sell them things they don't "know" they "need". =P
