I took mine when I was 12 or 13 (2 years ago) and I got 135
What about you?

I don't know, but honestly, IQ tests are ridiculous.
The IQ formula is intellectual age/real age. This is silly, because my IQ when I was 8 or 9 was probably much higher than it is now. Also, I think that to objectively measure intelligence is almost impossible with our current understanding of the human brain. A comprehensive IQ test would cost millions of dollars and require equipment we haven't even invented yet.
Furthermore, there are many forms of intelligence. I do believe there is a general g-factor, which may be linked to the efficiency of neural circuitry, but some people are really good at certain intellectual activities and not others. For instance, I scored an 800 on the reading comprehension portion of the SAT but only a 710 in math. I've always struggled with math. If you were to ask me to draw anything, I would fail horribly since my visual-spatial skills are subpar.
Both the validity and reliability of IQ tests are questionable at best, and the whole concept of "intelligence" creates an artificial dichotomy of a very complex trait.

IQ tests are very limited yes, only tests certain areas
[QUOTE="Lethalhazard"]I took the same test twice in one session, the first I got 105...the second I got 134CazmoV
Don't you think this is probably cos you would have known the answers from the first time?
...Yeah, um, there's more than one set of possible questions for an IQ test :lol:By the way, was the IQ test you took online?

Yep, it was on Tickle
Oh, well then the question's settled. All bow to CazmoV the Tickle-certified genius!

I so knew your IQ wasn't 134! :lol:IQ tests are pointless. There is no way to objectively measure somebody's intelligence, and even if there was, why bother? The only thing that could happen is a person would feel limited in what they could acheive or set standards way to high for themselves.
The number, though supposedly, high, was not high enough to do well in physics, apparently, so does it really indicate anything?

It's certainly possible, but I doubt it. If this is true, you are 5.6 standard deviations above average, meaning people as smart or smarter than you comprise only 1.07X10^-8 of the population (or at least according to my TI-83 Plus :) ).

Get you with your... standard deviations or something. :PIQ tests are frankly a ridiculous way of measuring intelligence. When I last tested it was about 149 (and I'm not lying)

yep. those tests don't mean crap online.110(not and online test). I always here other people talk about scoring over 130. I'm not real bright, but am ok with that.herbasher
That's all that matters. :)
I scored a 140 the last time I was "officially" tested...but that was nearly a decade ago when I was in elementary school.:?
130 a few years back, last one was 115. Getting dummer by the minute. But yeah, IQ tests are very, very subjective. I'd imagine that one that would be somewhat precise would necessarily be extremely chaotic. As in, too many variables with too much power.joao_22990
Probably because it's dependent on your age, which is totally stupid IMO.

No offense, but online IQ tests are very innacurate. Unless, of course, I really do have an IQ of 150.
