Kind of relevent to topic: Three college buddies decided to try speed and sat on the computer and played risk for 36 hours straight while complaining that the drug was not working. Hahahalfnaked
There is this article about a 11 year old Japanese kid who played WoW for 36 hours straight and then jumped out a 7 story window. He left a note saying "Anaria Sholar, I love you all but I am going to go join my heroes in Azeroth."

he would of fallen asleep on the way down!
The longest I've gone is probably 30 hours and it was unpleasant. It was one of those sleepover deals when I was younger and we basically "had" to stay awake the whole time to get the full experience or whatever. I just wanted to go to sleep after awhile.
I haven't tried to go as long as I can and I never will. I may not get the full 8 hours a night, but I like my sleep and I don't feel like destroying myself. Plus, I don't want to feel any worse at work than I already do.
