If I am really into a book, it would take a few days, if I am not that interested in it it would take about a week to two weeks to read it.

I never read books unless it's for school. Then it depends on how good it is. If I like it it'll take a few weeks probably. If I don't like it I'll read till it gets to boring to continue then I'll get rid of it and hope I won't fail to hard at the test.

This is trite perhaps, but it depends on what I'm reading. If it's some light fantasy fiction, then a matter of some hours. If I'm re-readig Herodotus or Livy... days, and if it's a technical journal or text then a maximum. I could blast through Cryptonomicon, but the same page count in MTW's 'Gravitation' is going to be eponentially slower.

Depends on how good the book is. But let's say it's a very good book around 450 pages. I should be able to crack it in about 4-5 hours.

A 300 page, large-font fiction novel I could probably destroy in 3-4 hours.

I can finish it in a day if I'm really into it, but typically I take my time with books. So I'd say a week maybe or a little less.

About 5 or 6 hours at the most, that's if I read it all in one go obviously, not every book is captivating. The last Harry Potter book I read in a day, from about 10/11 in the morning till the same time at night, with some breaks for getting food and not peeing my pants.

ive never read a book in its entirety

Nice. I love the education system of America.

I would have to say anywhere from 2 days to a week. Depends on how much other stuff I have going on and how large the print is. It takes me about 2 seconds to read a line. Every time I try to block read as you're taught in speed reading, I miss something. Sometimes it's contextual part of a dialogue or just not imagining and picturing it right. My comprehension goes way down too. It's not really slow, but it's about average. Something like 250 to 300 words a minute. I wish I could read like 800 to 1,000 wpm with high comprehension and retention. That would be optimally ideal.

It depends on the length of the book.
