They have Oldboy released on Bluray?
yea for quiet sometime. Speaking of it, best buy just release the Vengeance Trilogy. Its a time exclusive.
Oh, about that Avatar blu-ray release...You might want to hold out. The release in April is going to be strictly bare bones, movie only purchase. A special edition is forthcoming. The movie itself is great and all, but the real magic of the film is behind the scenes, IMO.spazzx625
The behind the scenes stuff usually ruins the movie for me. I bought all 3 extended editions for the LoTR series and after watching Aragon charge a green screen saying "This is for Frodo" I couldn't watch that scene anymore without laughing.
Will the special edition have extended/additional scenes?

Supposedly up to 40 minutes of deleted scenes...But I have no source for that, just something I read on Amazon. I DO have a source for it being barebones...And not in 3D, as originally hyped. That's reason enough to wait. LinkZero, I have nothing to play them on, and I probably won't get a blu ray player until dvd players stop being made. I'm just quite enjoying the dirt-cheap DVDs right now.XilePrincessSame :D

I'll take your advice. I'm in no rush anyway.
I was all ready to preorder it from Amazon until I saw there were no special features listed, then I did a little digging. They pulled the same crap with The Watchmen, and I waited for that and that was the right decision.Wow, sounds like they are going to milk this for all it is worth.

At least 3 versions...That is corroborated by the link I gave in the quotes. They are also talking about a theatrical re-release with more content, so it could be a while before we see the truly ultimate dvd/blu-ray edition.[QUOTE="TheShadowLord07"][QUOTE="spazzx625"] Supposedly up to 40 minutes of deleted scenes...But I have no source for that, just something I read on Amazon. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie, but ugh.

If I was able to wait till dec till for the watchmen ultimate, I think I'm going to wait till they release avatar with some supplements. And I'm not going to double dip.
