[QUOTE="TheShadowLord07"][QUOTE="rragnaar"]I've got too many to list. I think I've got somewhere around 80 or so. My highlights are the Stanley Kubrick collection, all of the old Disney re-releases, Blade Runner, Wizard of Oz and Casablanca. Warner Bros. and Disney do an awesome job restoring old movies. spazzx625

I have not seen King Kong in years, I really should give a revist. Also is London After Midnight really lost? Because I see it advertised by TCM sometimes, or is just a lot of missing footage? Greed is in the need for any kind of release, as much as I want to see it I am not forking over 50 bucks for a used VHS copy...I have not seen King Kong in years, I really should give a revist. Yup "London After Midnight" is very much a lost film existing only in photographs. The TCM "reconstruction" is basically sequential stills with an explanation of what's a goin' on for which the artistic community felt they did such a stellar job that they won a handful of awards. Also the movie "Greed", although very good, exists currently only in its 2 1/2 version. The orginal ran in the neighborhood of a bit over 8 hours but the studio wasn't happy with Erich Von Stroheim's expensive and artistic endeavor and thus did their usual snip job and then promptly melted down the original nitrate negatives. Yay.
On YouTube? Interesting footage they shot. It's amazing to think people were incredibly affected by those images. How far we have come.dreDREb13
Naw I was just kidding that I found the original footage to go along with my claims of having a handful of other lost items and films. The footage on Youtube is a recreation although very well done. Yeah it is funny to thing how it initially terrorized some folks but then again a lot of people were stunned and scared crapless after watching the original Frankenstein which these days just seems kind of...cute.
I have like 20 Blu Rays. I also bought an HD-DVD drive for my Xbox after the format died, and as a result built a sizable collection for like 50 bucks.savebatteryI did the same, I bought 2 HD DVD drives and built a collection of about 45 discs for next to nothing They are still going cheap, I just bought Tremors and the Skeleton Key for 99p each
