Two. Our TV has only one HDMI port and that goes into the sound system we have. So if we were to watch a Blu-Ray it would still be in standard quality because we don't have a second HDMI port for the player. So yeah, we're not getting Blu-Rays again until we either get a new TV, Blu-Rays go down in price, or a bit of both.
blu rays are coming down in price every month (thank god) hmv are doing some for 5.99 :) just want new releases to come down from £19.99 to £14.99Two. There are some films I would love to buy for Blu-Ray (assuming we have a new TV by this point) like American History X, but iconic films like those were still priced at £19.99 last time I saw.[QUOTE="Murj"]

I have 1.. Got a PS3and decided to buy Rambo to see what the deal with blu-ray was, it only set me back £2 which is the only reason i bought it :P
I don't have a blu-ray player, I don't feel the digital transfers are worth that much to switch to....Jazz_Fanhow about the insane picture/audio quality? :S
None, I rented one once. The change in quality wasn't as noticable on my Sony 60" XBR 1080p as what I was expecting.

It depends largely on the film. Some look amazing, others look no better than upscaled DVDs.
Also, eyesight. If you don't have pin sharp vision you may be disappointed.
