[QUOTE="rawsavon"][QUOTE="UT_Wrestler"]None that I know of, although I've heard through the grapevine that my mom has had a half-dozen abortions; not complaining but I can't figure out why I wasn't one of them. The dad that I never knew might have other kids though, who knows?UT_Wrestler

I don't ever know if you are telling the truth on here or not. But if half the **** you say is true, then you have had one ****ed up life...sorry man

Well **** happens when you're dirt-poor. I wouldn't mind finding out if I had other siblings, but the only thing my mom can tell me about my dad is that his name is Mike and he was a semi-pro football player. Couldn't even tell me what team or what league; but the could probably be married and have a half-dozen kids I'm related to for all I know.

I don't know what dirt poor has to do with it...though there is a correlation with increased psychological issues and decreased earnings...but I am not implying causation (could be attributed to social values: 'eccentric' rich person versus 'crazy' poor person...but I digress) Anywho, sucks if true man. Would be nice to at least have some genetic history

You would prefer low expectations? ...I hope that I don't need to go into some in-depth adolescent psychology to explain why that is bad for a child Responsibility helps to teach you how to survive on your own and makes you a better person First-born children are usually the high achievers for a reason in a family

In my family, and most of the others that I know, its the middle child that is the over achiever. The running joke between me and my sister is that the oldest (her) has all of the responsibility, so naturally she gets blamed whenever anything goes wrong. the youngest (me) typically gets spoiled the most. So the middle child (my brother) has to excell if he wants to get attention. my brother was on the honor roll in high school, He lettered in 3 sports, he plays the piano and he was the first to graduate from college (degree in electrical engineering), need I go on?

That is close to typical. The middle child will usually rebel the most to get attention But the baby is usually least likely to 'succeed' b/c they are coddled the most Though this certainly does not apply to all situations...just enough to be researched and written about
