I can only speak English... I want to learn my father's native tounge (Croatian), and a few others... I didn't pick up on any of the French I learned in school, mostly because I didn't care for it...
Well, I'm trying to teach myself Croatian, and luckily my father and uncle speak it regularily, but sometimes they mix it with several dialects...V___V Chinese and Arabic would be cool to learn.
I would like to learn all languages in the world. So far I know...
English, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Polish, and Russian. I am still working on my Japanese.
I can read some spanish but I can't speak it at all.
I plan to try and teach myself German but I have no one to talk with :(
English(North American-English, to be more specific) is my first language. I know Spanish pretty well. I can keep up in conversations and read it. I'm trying to teach myself Chinese(Mandarin), Thai, Korean, and Vietnamese. I'm going bit by bit, so I'm not really excelling too much in any of them, but it's fun to research and understand how each language works. I can already read Korean script (not as fast as I can read English though lol) and I'm trying to figure out a number of tones in Vietnamese. Chinese and Thai scripts are more complex imo, so it's taking me a bit longer to figure those out. Yeah. I find all languages to be fascinating.
I can speak English and Bengali fluently, as well as knowing the basics for French, Spanish, and Hindi.
Currently I'm learning French, although I'd like to learn Arabic and Japanese too.

Vietnamese is incredibly hard to learn since it's all about tones. What are you using to teach you?
I don't see how you could possibly learn 4 asian languages at the same time.

I'm just trying to understand how each of them work. I'm not taking any classes for any one of them yet. I'm just going into college this fall but I'm going to try to find a class for one of them once I get situated.

That sure is a hell of a lot of languages...
But there are certain languages in the world, where if you know one of them, you can easily understand a very similar one...

Yeah, it is. But you can learn them fast from people who lived in that country, but I haven't met any Japanese nor Polish so I had to learn it myself.
