[QUOTE="limpbizkit818"][QUOTE="Shad0ki11"]English(North American-English, to be more specific) is my first language. I know Spanish pretty well. I can keep up in conversations and read it. I'm trying to teach myself Chinese(Mandarin), Thai, Korean, and Vietnamese. I'm going bit by bit, so I'm not really excelling too much in any of them, but it's fun to research and understand how each language works. I can already read Korean script (not as fast as I can read English though lol) and I'm trying to figure out a number of tones in Vietnamese. Chinese and Thai scripts are more complex imo, so it's taking me a bit longer to figure those out. Yeah. I find all languages to be fascinating.

Vietnamese is incredibly hard to learn since it's all about tones. What are you using to teach you?
I don't see how you could possibly learn 4 asian languages at the same time.
I'm just trying to understand how each of them work. I'm not taking any classes for any one of them yet. I'm just going into college this fall but I'm going to try to find a class for one of them once I get situated.
i love when my friend speaks Vietnamese to his mother, it always sound like hes yelling when he is not. :|
