i was required to take computer concepts in my school and the first thing we did was learn how to type without looking at the keyboard.

I sure don't, I type with just my index fingers. I've gotten better over the years, though, I'm reasonably fast now. :P

i learnt how to type fast by playing alot of MP games back when Pc online shooters were the only choice

I just use my middle and index fingers.

I had a bit of training, but I don't rigorously stick to the whole "home row" stuff. I know the rules well enough to break them now. :P

Unfortunatly I know how to type a bit too well.... when you are in school you will get REAL GOOD at it REAL SOON....

I got pretty good at typing from playing too many online games. :P

I basically taught myself how to type. I don't type perfectly fine though.

I basically learned how to type myself and I can type extremely fast. Although I did take classes in school, internet messageboards are truly responsible for making me type fast.

Many people are amazed on how fast I can type, and I'm the fastest typer at my entire school. I've seen people that are faster, but I'm not bad. :P

I learned to type in some lame high school class. I shouldn't call it lame though, since it's probably one of the only classes in high school that gave me a skill of any sort. lol

After many years of practice I can finally type.
