How many of your grandparents are still alive?

That last part seems like science-fiction to me. Who knows? Maybe it' s time for humanity to do its greatest leap towards technological advancement and therefore in healthcare as well. I know I' ll be eager to know of any new amazing discoveries.

None even both of my parents are dead.:cry: Both of my Grandfather's died before I was born.

My grandmothers are still alive and well.

My grandfathers died in 2005 and 2007.

To be honest you should take Kurzweil's techno-worship with a huge grain of salt.

Oh gosh they are passed away some time ago with my Grandmother on my Mother's side being the last to go. 

mother's parents are still here, at 79, father's mother is still around at 78.  Had a great grandmother who lived to 99

Just my Grandmother. My grandfather died in 2002 of skin cancer. 

My grandpa on my mother's side is dead but my great-grandparents on my father's side are still alive.

3 of them are still alive,my grandpa on my dad's side died years ago and my grandma on my mom's side probably doesn't have much time left.

Fortunately all 4 are still alive. They're all around their mid-70s right now.

Only one, my maternal grandma. My paternal grandma died last month.

0, not counting step-grand parents

All of my grandparents are gone, last one (My dad's dad) died in December. My dad also died in 2009.

My family is shrinking.

They all died before I could meet them.

None. Last one just passed away about a month ago.

My grandad on my dad's side died in 1992 before I was born. He's the only one who's passed.

both my maternal grandparents and my paternal grandfather died before I was born. I still have my paternal grandmother

Both of my grandfathers died 20+ years before I was born. There isn't even any pictures of them that still exist. My paternal grandmother died before I ever got a chance to meet her. And my maternal grandmother died a little over a year after I finally met her. 

None. Been gone for a long time.

My grandmother is still alive but her mother just passed away this saturday. It broke my heart to see my grandmother crying in grief for her mother. She was going to be 100 years old this august. :(

Grandparents on my dads side died years ago. On my moms side they are still alive and in their 90s.

My grandmother (father's mom) died when I was 8, and I think my grandfather (mom's dad) died when I was around 12 (maybe a little later). I remember my grandmother's death more since it happened on Christmas Eve. Worst Christmas ever. I don't even remember what I got.

My grandmother is turning 90 this year and i hope she's still alive by the time i graduate college.
