Seriously to all those here that only have like one or two pairs of shoes, most girls don't dig that. When(*if* for most of you :P)ever you go on a date with a girl, one of the first things she'll look at are your kicks. Girls like to see variety and that the shoes are well kept.
Personally, I have 4 pairs dress shoes, 2 black, 1 grey,1 brown... 2 pairs of low-cut boots 1 black another brown... brown chucks...a checkered and a striped pair of converse... 3 pair of various patterned BKE shoes... and the remaining are just work shoes, sports shoes and running shoes. Then add the two pair of flip flops, one brown, one white. all-in-all that makes 15 pairs, 17 if you count the flip-flops
Girls like the variety, you'll get compliments to no end from girls when you show up on a date and have great shoes. Then when they compliment that just opens up a conversation starter, compliment her back on something she's wearing...has worked great for me anyways. Girls like a well-dressed man.
Too many, at least 60 pairs - but then I am a girl and girls love shoes!!!wavey_graveyLol you got alot of pairs of shoes i see :P You know guys like to collect sneaks as well such as myself 8)- nike dunks ftw :P

If a girl wants to date shoes, she can. I don't date people who pay attention to something as insignificant as shoe diversity. :lol:Seriously to all those here that only have like one or two pairs of shoes, most girls don't dig that. Your shoes tell us what youre into, whether you're athletic or not, your financial status, your social status, and just how much you keep yourself.
My shoes don't tell anything about me. Except, perhaps, that I don't go for name brands. :P And that comfort > style.Your shoes tell us what youre into, whether you're athletic or not, your financial status, your social status, and just how much you keep yourself.

So if I see that along with the rest of your outfit I'd get something like what... a laid back guy who doesnt care much for how he presents himself to others but (depending on the shoes) is down to do some fun things. (sports if its sneakers/rubbershoes -- or just chillin at the couch and watch tv/movies if its like mandals or something)

[QUOTE="Jandurin"]wtf is a mandal? :oSajedeneman sandals ... .. . Wouldn't that just be sandals that a man is wearing? I mean, I doubt I could even fit most women sandals?

Its just a term ... are you seriously going to get all twisted up about the word?
It just seems unnecessary. Like, man-bag, I get. Because the handbag type thing is more female oriented. I feel like sandals are more man oriented to start with. Its just a term ... are you seriously going to get all twisted up about the word?

Many things in life are unnecessary and yet they exist.
I had an edit where I tried to make fashion and gender judgments![QUOTE="Sajedene"][QUOTE="Jandurin"][QUOTE="Sajedene"]It just seems unnecessary. Its just a term ... are you seriously going to get all twisted up about the word?

And sandals were always worn by both genders until men started doing the whole boots thing for the war -- while women maintained the sandals until they moved to the clogs.
Huh. I always wear sandals when it's possible. And sandals were always worn by both genders until men started doing the whole boots thing for the war -- while women maintained the sandals until they moved to the clogs.

Yep. Basically. I wear sandals a lot, and never heard them called mandals. More just clarification than defensive. Though a bit defensive, perhaps :D[QUOTE="Sajedene"][QUOTE="Jandurin"][QUOTE="Sajedene"]Huh.
