How much longer will humanity exist?

Our technology is growing. More and more deadlier weapons are made, and with wars all around us, something may be inevitable.

Of course, this isnt the most dangerous point in the world's history war-wise. Every since the ancient era, wars have been around, the only difference, is that they didnt have the weapons we have now. If this trend of wars and better weapons continues like it has been for the past 10,000 years, where stronger weapons are made to combat more deadlier foes, I predict a point in time where a weapon will be made that is so devastating that it'll wipe the population of humans off the earth.

Then again, that's my theory :P

How much longer do you think humanity will exist? What would be the cause of humanity becoming extinct?

Plently of time left before we evolve into something else. Climate change won't destory everything. Nuclear war almost certainly won't happen. Can't see a virus coming to wipe out the entire human race either, we're going to keep on going for a while.

That would be cool if Humans grew gills and developed webbed digits, eventually evolving into mer-people.

I can't say when we're going to die out, if at all.

But I can say there's most likely going to be a huge drop or halt in the population in 20-40 years. Humanity is gowing in a J-shaped curve, and whenever an animal population grows like that, it flattens out sharply and sometimes even decreases afterwards.

Sadly we'll probably just evolve into a slightly blander form of what we already are, since we are just about suited to our environment.

Not doomsday. Rumors are that a New World Order will be born, which in a way means THE END because you would lose all of your liberty rightz you love so much, but it doesnt mean the end of humanity, just the end of humanity as we know it.

Yeah that got me too. Although i honestly have to say at the rate were going right now. A long long time. Unless NorthK orea decides to nuke the world. Which in turn everybody will nuke them which means. the world gets nuked and humanity dies along with all the other creatures in the world.

I agree with your theory. Weapons in the wrong hands will do us in or global warming, WAY down the line.
