How often do you hear "hella"?

I use it all the time and I hear it frequently since I was born and raised in the Bay Area. I always found it interesting how the phrase is mainly a NorCal thing lol.

I try to put a hella in every sentence!

It's a Northern California thing (specifically Bay Area) and it's incredibly stupid.

"Hella" never really took off in Chicago. At least not from the part i'm from. Calling things "sick" to express its awesomeness is the most frequently used, out-of-place adjective i can think of around here.

I lived in both coasts of the US before. In the West they use "hella" and in the East they use "mad". Not sure if they still use that in the East now but I know they still use "hella" mostly in the Yay.

I live in Nor Cal, so naturally I hear it and say it hella much. I try to use wicked as much as possibe though. Wicked is way cooler than hella.

I have heard it, but I rarely eevr hear it. Definitely not part of my lingo though.
