How often do you wash your hands?

Do you only wash them after using the bathroom? Do you only wash them if they are literally dirty? Do you wash them before eating? Do you wash them any time you're going to touch your faceor mouth? How often do you wash your hands?

I personally wash my hands every chance I get. If I'm near a sink, I'll wash my hands. I haven't been sick inthe 4 years since I've become a germophobe. :)

Let's see. I wash my hands after being to the bathroom. Before I put in contact lenses. After putting in contact lenses. After doing my hair. After sex. After intense playing with my hair.

I guess that amounts to ... 10-15 times a day?

If I'm at my internship though, you can tripple that number easily.

Umm, after the bathroom, after eating food with my hands, when they feel dirty.

After using the restroom, before eating/preparing food, after eating, after doing anything that would cause my hands to get dirty (yard work, cleaning, etc.), and most often when looking after children. Can't ever be too careful around the little ones.

I try to wash them before I handle any food I am going to eat. Also after using the bathroom.

I think it's safe to say I will not be touching anything that most of you have touched since at least half of you don't feel it necessary to wash your hands after using the bathroom :|

I wash my hands:

- After I use the bathroom.

- Before preparing food.

- Before putting my contacts in.

- If they feel or look dirty.

I wash my hands after using the bathroom, handling food, and when they're dirty.

depends if i am cooking and how many times i use the potty, but i always make sure to wash her hands first, i am a gentleman like that

I wash my hands after using the bathroom, many times while cooking (especially if grilling) and before I eat. I prefer showers for two before sex so they are already clean when we get out.

I wash them every chance I get and I use hand sanitizer too in between.

Every time I go to the bathroom, before/after eating, and If my hands feel gross. Adds up to about 10 times a day...

Why would I wash my hands when I have better things to do? That's what showers are for. My hands look fine all the time, anyway.

Prior to eating food, following restroom use, when they appear dirty or feel greasy. Probably a few dozen times a day in total.
