I'm in college right now and next summer I plan on getting a job but if I stay at home with the 'rents that'll save me a lot of money. But I'm almost 22 already! Am I kind of pushing it? If I thought my boyfriend was more serious about the relationship then I would just move in with him but I'm not so sure that planning in living with him in a year is a good idea. How old is too old to be living at home?

I'd say after the age of 30. Some say if your still at home with mommy and have no girlfriend or no interest to move out at all, something must be wrong with you.

If you're married and you still with your parents, that is a bit strange to me. If however, they live with you, that is perfectly fine.

It depends on your situation. If you are going to school, and living at home, then I don't see a problem with that. But if you are just living at home being a bum, and doing nothing, then that is a problem.

I'm not really sure what my boyfriend has to do with this topic but it's just part of the story. He's my boyfriend. Why wouldn't he affect most of the things in my life. :P

My girlfriend thinks 22 is pretty old for a guy to still be at home.

i'm 25 and me n' my girlfriend live with my mom, so does my sister who's 21 and my cousin who's 27...

As long as you're working and you have your own space that your family respects and never violates, it's never too old to live with your family. I moved out when I was 19, came back when I was 23 after my gmom passed, had to be there for the family/mom. So yeah, it's up to you when/if you want to leave. There's no age limit.

Imo, at 30 years old you are pushing it, but below I think it's ok. I am 24 and I just came back at my parent home. why? to save money, I want to visit the world and I want to purchase my own house in the future. Not paying 500$/month for an apartment+500-1000$/months for food and other stuff is really helping me atm.

My parents were married and still lived with there parents, as they couldn't afford a house. However they did move after about 2-3 months.

Too old to live at home? By definition, home is where one lives. So you're never too old to live at home, unless you want to be a hobo.

I think age doesn't really matter, just as long as you're going to school and your parents are okay with it then fine. Especially during this recession, it's very hard to go to college and pay for your own place, all my friends (and myself) are living at home right now.

I would say if you still live with them after 25 it would be a little strange, unless you were still in school.
