How open minded are you to music?

How open minded are you when you listen to music OT? I listen to multiple genres (ie, Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, Rap, Jazz, Country, etc)

Very. I listen to every from classic rock, to oldies, to country, to 80's pop to 60's and 70's folk to soft rock.

In b4 90% of OT says "Very" but are really elitists and very anti-mainstream. I will listen to it as long as it sounds like it has an organized melody or beat, noise and heavy deathmetal/grind/drone obscure kind of genres are the only ones i dont listen to.

i will listen to anything besides country so yeah id say im pretty darn open minded when it comes to music.

Actually I have Sean Kingston, and Carly Rae Jepsen on my phone... I can't lie some mainstream is pretty good. And although many people may think its bad, I find it to be pretty catchy.

My taste in music ranges from noisegrind to classical, so pretty varied

There's gems in pretty much every genre, but probably 90% of what's out there is crap.

I never believe people who say "I listen to everything".

Because then I name off genres or artists and they always say

"I don't like rap"

"I don't like indie music"

I listen to everything though.

On a scale of one to open-minded, I'd give myself a five. I like a lot of different genres, but there's a ton of stuff out there I've yet to discover or care about one way or the other.

That being said, I'm definitely not somebody who only listens to a certain genre. Even looking at my Top 50, my music taste is extremely eclectic. I like everything from Enya to Guns and Roses.

I don't think the phrase "I listen to everything" is meant to be taken literally. I think it simply means that one listens to wide variety of music.

I give everything a chance and like a lot of songs. There are some genres in which I still need to find an artist/band to like

Fairly open minded. I'll give anything a try, but there's obviously going to be genres I prefer or dislike.

My favorite songs of his just happened to be in the movie, which makes sense as they chose stuff that's among his best, though one of his best works that I don't remember being in the movie is Symphony 41, AKA The Jupiter Symphony.

My favorite songs of his just happened to be in the movie, which makes sense as they chose stuff that's among his best, though one of his best works that I don't remember being in the movie is Symphony 41, AKA The Jupiter Symphony.

Those early symphonies were pretty sh*tty... except the first one. I like that one.

Don Giovanni is indeed incredibly powerful and I always cite is as an example when Beethoven d!ckriders try to pretend that Mozart only makes light classical music with no emotional punch.

I won't listen to opera, thrash/death metal or mainstream country, but everything else is fair game.

I listen to several genres / sub genres: rock, pop, metal, hair metal, classical, smooth jazz, new wave, and a tiny bit of country / southern rock.
