How rare are you female gamers?

A better question is how rare are experienced female gamers. The only female gamers I've met are pretty badly experienced with video games. I murder them in smash bros., call of duty, etc.Solid_Snake325

I think that's off. I think by game-playing, they're including anyone who has ever played a game. Majority of the people that play regularly are teen - young adult men.

I guess you think people quit gaming at 30 then eh? I can think of games that happen to draw in an older clientèle and average around 60 in age. Ask yourself why the average age of gamers is 37 (and getting higher every year) then think about games like Silent Hunter, Railroad Simulator or Railworks, Flight Simulator and the iL2 franchise. Notice that these are played exclusively on the PC with RS, RW and FS all offering payware mods for them. Sure, there are youngsters playing them, but for the most part, one could say it's the domain of the over the hill gang (I can't believe I said that about myself even :cry: ).

Back when I first started playing games online, I met a girl clan called Girls n Guns that played Rainbow Six (the original on the PC). Then I heard about a Swedish girl clan that played Counterstrike. Don't forget about PMS Clan with these ladies or the Ubi backed Frag Dolls.

I've only seen like a handful of hardcore girl gamers above age 18, though I know of hundreds of males under 18 that play frequently play. I just have a hard time believing that fact.
