That 'casandra' Twitter user who said she hates short men isn't very nice at all. Can you imagine if a man on Twitter said something like I hate short women?
Anyways, I'm 6'6" so that's that.
I'm 5 10 or so. Isn't average male height 5 8?
Depends on country, in the Netherlands it's like 5 foot 11 inches to 6 foot 1 inch, which is generally considered the country with the tallest people. In the U.S. its around 5 foot 9. In my country (Slovenia) it's also around 5 foot 10 to 5 foot 11 inches.
I don't think there is an actual height issue for women, I know plenty of people where that doesn't factor into their perception of a guy.
That being said, attraction is attraction and you're only limiting the playing field for yourself if you don't like shorter men.
I'm 5'1 so I've never really had this issue of a guy being shorter than me before.

Well I'm really self-conscious about my height. I think moreso every year.
The funny thing is, up until I was like 25 or so I had no problem with being short. But then it really started messing with my insecurities being shorter than a lot of women. The sucky thing is that even if you're taller than a woman it still isn't always enough because for some reasons the tiny girls feel like they need giants wrapped around them.

LOL I thought this thread look mighty familiar. I was about to post until I saw my original post from 3 years old (at the time I post in page 1) and I'll admit, it's fun to return a thread from several years old to find you're own post.
@davillain-: That's true. Sometimes it's kinda neat to peer into a thread from years ago. Sometimes it's also cringe-inducing. But then a lot of my present-day comments are cringe-inducing lol.
I think some of the weirdest moments I had was when I used the waywayback machine to revisit a forum I went to in 2007. It almost felt like the profile I'd written wasn't my own, because I changed so much since then. Even a year or so after that, I wouldn't have agreed with what I'd written for my profile.

I try not to feel bad about things outside my control.

Yes, tall people get more respect, if that's the right way to put it. Like, a lot of times people think they can talk me into changing my mind about something. As for girls, it goes both ways, I mean a little disbalance is ok but what kind of guy is attracted to girls 15 kg heavier than him? Unless that extra weight is VERY well placed, but even then I mean come on...
