how to prevent a drunk dialer from... drunk dialing....?

Let's call my friend "B". He is really cool and he's been my no.1 guy friend for a while now. But... whenever we drink, B goes straight for the phone and drunk dials the **** out of people. He always calls this girl too that has no interest in him and I feel bad because he's making an ass out of himself. I've heard him talk to people on speakerphone and they're always extremely annoyed with him. As a good female friend, I tried explaining to B that most people, especially girls that aren't interested in you at all, don't like being drunk dialed. But he actually insisted that people like being drunk dialed and that it's funny. What can I do to make him stop this? (besides stop drinking LOL)

Slap him and tell him to stop. Not only is he ignoring your company, but he's annoying other people and making an ass out of himself.

take away hism phone or next time he does it record it and play it back to him when he is sober so he can see how annoying he is being

Destroy the phone (you can choose the fashion) so that he no longer has the ability to make calls. Problem solved.

Before anyone says, "Well, he probably needs the phone when he's not drunk..." no. You lose your calling privileges when you become an idiot. It's a law.

I'm hoping it's a phase. He is fairly new to the drinking scene and maybe he just doesn't know how to handle himself yet?

I've tried taking his phone too, he just badgers me until I get so annoyed I end up throwing it back at him lol.
