Oh, we're talking about two different guys. When you said "white douchebag" I thought you meant the guy in charge of the MNU paramilitary operation who was running around the whole movie looking for excuses to kill things.
MrGeezer
No, he's not the "white male douchebag", he's the "I love killing things" douchebag.
Though to be fair, I'm not sure how much he simply wanted an excuse to kill ALIENS as opposed to how much he wanted an excuse to kill ANYTHING. He sure as hell had no problems with hunting down Wickus. If the aliens had never landed, this dude would still probably be out somewhere killing people.
Yeah, that guy was nuts! He the kind of guy that you would not want to pick a fight with.
MNU mercenary leader Koobus Venter played by David James. Here is a picture of him with Neill Blomkamp.
Awesome movie.
It was cynical, intelligent and brutal.
Special effects were mind-blowing and the acting was awesome.
Interspecies-prostitution. Need I say more?
it was a good movie, but not anywhere near the second coming like people are claiming. i went into a little more detail in the main district 9 thread (a good place to see what people here think of it...), so im not going to repeat myself. anyway, you might as well go see it. theres not much better playing in most theaters now.LoG-SacramentWhile I agree with your thoughts on the film, I disagree with your last statement. I would say there are plenty of films that deserved to be seen over District 9.

It takes us forever to get the limited releases.

Judging from your taste in movies, I think you're going to like Moon, a lot. I loved it. :)
