that's it, also the people weren't slaves alot of them were engineers and were paid in garlic
How come we have never been successful at building one, despite failed opportunities to move blocks weighing 2 tons?Knowledge33
Because we don't have an unlimited amount of slave labor.

Except there were very few slaves that were involved in building the pyramids.Plus we already have made pyramids.

How can one explain the precision used on the casing limestone blocks, precision that is greater than any building on earth? With slave labor, a ramp would have had to be lengthened and heightened everyday as every level was worked upon.
The Pyramids have always been there. Problem solved.Cube_of_MooN
Pyramids = religion. Makes more sense than most theories.

Evidence? Anyway, it's kinda hard in this day and age to get a good 100,000 slaves so that you can build one.

The Japanese tried to in the modern age and failed and it was not even close to the size of the Great Pyramid, there have been other unsuccessful attempts as well.

yup. thats the most likely way it happened. i'm 99% sure it WAS not done by aliens.
[QUOTE="H8sMikeMoore"]i thought they hired mexicansMattUD1Fact: Isrealites were the Mexicans of their time.
Seriously, if we could get all of the illegal immigrants in the US together and pay them three dollars an hour, we'd have the pyramids built in no time.

did they try for 40 years, it took decades to make pyrimids, they usually started making them soon after the pharoe's corination
The Jews were enslaved by the Egyptians, the pyramids were built by slave labour, this is pretty well known, yes?
All the pyramids are, are massive symbols of slavery, I don't see why they are so celebrated.
The Great Pyramid is aligned to the Orion contellation. It is built with a precision not found in buildings of our time. It is representative of the dimensions of the earth. It is in the center of the Earth's landmass. It contains 2,300,000 blocks of stone.
It would take us 27 or more years just to quarry the stone that is in the Great Pyramid.
Knowledge33
Yes, and? They took a long time to build, people nowadays can't be pissed to do it manually because it takes too long.

And what does that have to do with anything?

Hardly a politically correct rant, fact is, the pyramids were built by forced labour, and we honour them as world wonder, thereby honouring slavery as a whole, since people are okay with that, that's fine, I just fail to see the attraction.

You might as well start trash talking anything related to cotton since the textiles industry was pretty much based on cotton picked by slaves.[QUOTE="Andrew_Xavier"][QUOTE="H8sMikeMoore"][QUOTE="Andrew_Xavier"]The Jews were enslaved by the Egyptians, the pyramids were built by slave labour, this is pretty well known, yes?

As much a I hate to admit it (being a Jew and all), but all the modern evidence points against this theory. The pyramids weren't built on the backs of slaves (for the most part anyways), but rather on the backs of those that worshiped the Pharaoh as their god king.

Arg, I'm guessing the holocaust didn't happen either:roll:
Modern evidence, points to the fact that the sheer amount of Hebrew names that were associated with the pyramids, would indicate that the majority of labour done on the pyramids was done by force, aka slavery.
