How will "The Office" continue without Steve Carell?

It will continue...to not be as good as the older seasons.

1. True (or at least veeeeeeeery likely)

2. 1^, is the reason US TV is mostly garbage now. Studios continue a show till the ratings drop. Quality and plot are unimportant to TV series length. :(

It would seem like the perfect time to end it. The show has had a long run and already started losing steam a while back. Going forward at this point would basically be milking it for every last dollar.

I'm a day one, die hard fan of The Office. In my opinion I think it's just getting funnier. It doesn't, obviously, have the same shock value as it did in the first 2 seasons but I really enjoy it.

And I know lots of people who "don't get" The Office, as well as South Park. Funny enough, those are two of my favorite shows.

Yeah it's a stupid idea to continue without him. The show's run for long enough, they should just end it. It's going to be another Scrubs. JML897
