[QUOTE="Head_of_games"]What's stopping Supes from tossing Hulk outside the universe and leave him to flaot forever before he gets mad enough to win? NOTHING. And yes, he beats Goku. His powerlevel has been roughly calculated, and it far outstrips anyone from DBZ.

Superman though considering doomsday nearly killed superman and considering Hulk is stronger than him, I wouldn't count Hulk as a automatic loser....

Superman would win. The Hulk would angrier and angrier if they were to slug it out, and eventually get so angry that he would be able to physically overpower superman, BUT Superman could easily pick Hulk up and throw him off into out space, winning the match easily. Since Hulk can't fly he'd be stranded there until someone else brought him back to continue the fight. Also, since Hulk's skin is not impervious to weapons fire/darts etc, he could be shot with a tranquilizer and knocked out, Superman doesn't have this problem, unless the Hulk could muster up some Kryptonite bullets or something.

Oh damn it all, I can't find it!

But in DBZ they stated the powerlevel of the average human. And since we know how strong the average human is, and we know how strong Superman is, we can get a rough idea of his powerlevel. As I recall, even when you're being very conservative, it's in the quadrillions.

The Z warriors are so far out of their league it's not even funny.

I'm so sick of these threads. They are completety pointless. It's pretty much comparing a super hero to GOD. Facts about Superman: 1. his strength was tested as exceeding the force of 200 quintillion tons. 2. is invulnerability protects his body from almost all forms of physical harm. Effectiveness has ranged from his skin being piercable by nothing less than a "bursting shell" to being completely unharmed at ground zero of a nuclear explosion. Includes the immunity to most known diseases, viruses and toxins. 3. Flight. Can reverse time by spinning A PLANET. 4. he is said to be "faster than a speeding bullet." No normal human can run away or outrun him. Top speeds have ranged from hundreds of miles per hour to speeds far greater than the speed of light. 5. X-ray vision 6. Heat vision 7. Super Breat, Vision, Hearing, Smelling....EVERYTHING 8. Eidetic memory - Superman is occasionally shown to have flawless, total recall of everything he has ever seen, read or heard. These threads are completely and utterly pointless. Can we have one on Hulk and Spiderman? Something like that maybe? come on guys...

I always imagined that even now Hulk would initially overwhelm Supes with the ferocity of his attack, but that Superman would rally himself and beat Hulk in the end. This scenario, like so many other things, all goes according to Thanos' plan...whatever that is.

They're both demi-gods, so there's no telling.

This isn't even a realistic battle, not like Hulk could kill Superman. Maybe knock him around for a bit before superman rips his head off. Celestials would be the appropriate match, at least to a superman prime.

Superman

- He can fly and breath in space

- The sun heals him

- Faster then a speeding bullet while running and can fly at a speed slightly under the speed of light (most commonly assumed)

- His true strength has never really been measured but I'm a firm believer that his strength is situational and varies depending on his emotions. If there was a max to his strength it would be around 800,000 tons tons as stated in the comics. Other sources say around 200 quintillion tons.

- He's got many abilities from heat vision, super breath, ice breath, x-ray vision, enhanced hearing, superspeed and he's incredibly smart.

Hulk

- Can leap 3-4 miles

- Can achieve speeds of up to 300 miles per hour

- Is capable of lifting around 100 tons

- Stamina is almost unlimited

Superman is the obvious winner here.

Goku, right. I know you said no Goku. But Goku kicks the asses of both of them. I mean Nappa is basically the incredible Hulk, kicks his ass doesn't he?

MrGrimFandango
Why do you people always say Goku? He's wimpy.

Goku's power level is over 9000!

I don't know, I don't think people are giving Hulk enough credit here, he is EXTREMELY powerful.

It'd be an interesting fight. Also, Bruce Banner is one of the smartest men on the planet, so its debateable on what he can do.

If I were to have to pick, I'd honestly say Superman, but it would be a very very tough fight. Maybe it'd destroy the planet they were fighting on.

Hulk has no chance. That's like pitting a really strong ant (Hulk) against an ant eater (Supes).

What let's Think this through....

Superman's Weaknesses.....

1.Kryptonite: His most known weakness. Radioactive fragments of the planet Krypton created by fusion during the explosion that destroyed it. Superman's cells store electromagnetic radiation (such as sunlight) and convert it into energy, manifesting as his super-powers. When Superman is exposed to kryptonite (within roughly ten feet or less of any size or amount), its high-band radiation rapidly interferes with this process, causing severe physical pain and the loss of his powers, though lead can be used to block it out.

2.Red Sun Radiation: Natural in Krypton's planetary system, red solar radiation replaces the higher-yield yellow solar energy in Superman's cells, robbing him of the fuel for his powers. This process does not have the painful, crippling and fever-like symptoms of Kryptonite, and essentially leaves him with the normal health and abilities of a human in his size and shape, as it did for the entire population of Krypton during its existence. Exposure to Yellow Sunlight causes his powers to return. Other than Red solar radiation, using up his yellow solar energy before having a chance to recharge also causes Superman to lose his powers.[7]

3.Magic: It varies from writer to writer. While not so much an actual weakness, Superman's invulnerability offers no protection against magic. As a result, spells cast on Superman affect him the same as they would anyone else. This sometimes goes so far as enchanted weapons being able to subvert his invulnerability as well. Generally, he suffers the vulnerability provided he is directly attacked with magic. But there exists a number of exceptions, such as Justice League of America (version 1) #49, where Superman faces an ogre. Superman's direct attacks have no effect on the ogre, however Superman is able to harm the ogre through the usage of a stick.

4.Massive Physical Forces: While Superman is extremely resilient to most physical harm, he is not quite completely invulnerable and is susceptible to temporary injury from physical forces usually delivered to him by some of his super-powered inter-galactic enemies. Superman's ability to gain energy from sunlight may be counter-acted if he is badly beaten so quickly that his body doesn't have time to heal (as happened in his battle with Doomsday). In some spin-off media, he has been shown to be similarly vulnerable to electricity, a weakness exploited by nemeses Conduit and Live Wire.

So we have radiation, majic and massive physical force. The Hulk powers include radiation and Massive Physical Force.

The Hulks weaknesses are

1. Radiation manipulation. Silver Surfer has absorbed all the Gamma radiation out of him before, turning him into Banner.

2. Being calm.

3. He is schizophrenic, anything that can reverse it, and bring him back to his original personality can transform him into bruce. Maybe be fatal. A little girl crying about Hulk smashing could do the trick, and bring him back to his normal self. And the Hulk's smart now.......So the problem is that even if Superman faced him....the radiation would effect him. So that leave superspeed. But to what end, every blow at super speed would just chip at both sides. Superman may try a lobadamy with his heat vision but the Hulks risistance would just ......risiste that.So really, It would be the unstopable force meeting the unmovable object.....
