Talk to me when this stuff actually happens. I'm so tired of listening about it, yes lets keeps the enviroment clean because it makes sense to do so, not because we have a bunch of people who think doom and gloom will occur if not done.

The graphs come from University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) which is Founded in 1960, UCAR is a nonprofit consortium of North American member universities, each of which grants doctoral degrees in the atmospheric and related sciences, plus an increasing number of international affiliates offering comparable degrees, and North American academic affiliates offering predoctoral degrees

OHHH people who get paid to do this sort of propaganda. Like when the IPCC announced that that the glaciers in the Himalayan mountains would've completely melted now? Sounds like more unfounded BS for the sake of scaring the populous into "green" tech.[QUOTE="Person0"][QUOTE="Nibroc420"] . Records of tempatures?
Strange, we only started keeping track of things like that at the beginning of the 1900s.
But i'm sure with those "hundreds of years" they'll be able to explain the climate cycle of a 4 billion year old planet
Not one major scientific institute refutes the claim of Global warming, not 1. There is no doubt if it is happening or not. It's happening and will profundly change life on this planet in the coming decades/centauries.Records of tempatures?

You claim these scientists aren't doing it for the $$$, citing that they are "non profit" People who work for non-profits, still get paid. People who work in areas where their sole purpose is to prove something, usually try to stick to that goal. Disproving it would mean their area of research is pretty much useless, and they'd be out of a job.
Their job is not to prove if global warming is real or not, its to see how the climate will change in the future. This guy's study was funded by Global Warming deniers and guess what....he agrees that global warming is happening. http://www.startribune.com/nation/132889988.htmlIt's a documented fact that those who disagree with those institutes, never get jobs there.

Hmm... you may have stumbled upon something that the scientists have overlooked! I recommend that you contact the scientific community with your findings and let them know that their methodology is flawed.I've heard of it. Just stop trolling. Trolling? I thought you were trolling, you can't seriously believe that site can you?[QUOTE="OrkHammer007"]You've been saying it the entire thread: you would rather have people drive your version of an "ethical" product (a green vehicle that has a tendency to catch fire) than a safe one (MY version of an "ethical" product).[QUOTE="kuraimen"] Wut? When did I say that I'm ok with releasing cars that catch fire? Please quote me or stop putting words in my mouth.kuraimen
...or are you going to p***y out and claim that "that's not what I meant!"?
Ethics implies much more than just driving a green car. Nothing can be ethically acceptable if it is knowingly putting people's lives in danger, that's the whole point. The thing of the matter is that such a system will search for ethically acceptable solutions first rather than profitable acceptable solutions first which is what the current system does and, therefore, probabilistically speaking, the current would even put people in danger more often than an ethically based system since their focus is elsewhere.P***ying out, then. Got it.Oh... the current system is working quite well at weeding out the "unethical" products (except for Apple's s***). People who don't want to die just stop buying them, and the companies either stop making them, or go out of business. Just leave the f***ing system alone, accept that profit will drive the market until the Apocalypse, and you'll save yourself an ulcer or two.
