Hyundai Accent?

What do you think of it?

I'm a guy, I'm seventeen, and just bought an '02 Hyundai accent for $7000 canadian (Came from inheritence money from my grandparents, actually....)

The question remains;

 IS IT A GIRLS CAR!?

I saw a 98 today for 1800 CAD

but uhhh.....

How exactly is it a "girls car?"foxhound_fox

No idea... I mean, I'm told it's a girls car buy guys, and girls love the care to bits, hahah. Not that I care, I mean it gets me from A to B, has insanely good gas milage  (50 miles to the gallon), and lots of trunk room for my music stuff (drums amps etc.). But yeah.

7k?!?! you should have bought a 90's sports car like a Mustang or a Nissan 300 Viper_GTS-R

he would have payed twice as much for insurance...

 Yeah, exactly. Plus,l those 90's cars would have way more K's, much more work to put into them, more expensive for parts, less reliable, terribly mileage.... but at least it would look good? :|

lol I had a '99 cavalier, and i have a 02 accent now.  It's not as girly as a bicycle with streamers :P. As long as it gets you form point A to point B quicker than walking it's good enough.  I don't drive the Accent too much, i usually drive my 04 Accord now.

 So you have an 02 accent? How has it treated you so far? As in, realiability etc.

Had a problem with the transmission (was withing 10k miles or so and was covered by warranty) 

The passenger side window got stuck down (covered by warranty)

Some of the paint is coming off or looks washed out.

Other than that it's been fine. *knocks on formica
