I almost killed somebody

The other day I was driving on the highway, and a butt load of *** motorcycles come flying down the highway, well one swirves in front of me about 50' away and hits a bump going about 75mph and looses control of the bike, and I see his ankle bend in a way it shouldn't move, and amazingly enough he regains control of his bike. But what would of happened if I acutally hit him, because there was no way I would be able to stop in time if he wipped out and even if I slammed on my breaks, I would of gotten rear-ended from the car behind me. Would I really be charged with murder if I hit him?
