i didn't think racism was this bad in america until now. not just for what the guy is saying but also for the comments people wrote, proving that this guy isn't just some lonely lunatic. its sad to see some people actually agree with this guy, just scroll to the pages of comments and you'll se what i mean. they may not be many, only a few, but the numbers still shocked me. (or maybe its just the youtube community that is so primitive, i certainly don't epect to see absolutely anyone on gamespot acutally agree with Jay Severin, but who knows i might be surprised again)

am i the only one surprisedby this? or did anyone see this coming?

Racism existed the first time humans met other humans that weren't from their tribe/clan/etc. You Tube/GameSpot/MySpace is merely the modern method of humanity hating humans that aren't the same.

I wouldn't put too much stock in youtube comments, I remember this one video that had about 50 comments, and every single one of them was making fun of the guy in the video because he was fat. The people who comment on youtube are 90% A-holes. I suppose everyone is racist to some degree though. I guess it's in our nature to dislike or distrust things that are diffrent.
