DVDs or in theatres. It doesn't really matter.

I just saw Cleaner on DVD tonight. It was OK. It had Samuel L. Jackson, Ed Harris and Eva Mendes. Didn't really turn out to be as interesting as I thought, because it just couldn't hold my attention that well.

I saw Fido on DVD just the day before, and that is one hilarious movie! I love zombie comedies, and this one of the best ones I've seen in a while. I just love the campy 50s era!

I have some movie reviews posted up if you want to have a look.

The last 3 movies I have watched were Indiana 4, and the two grindhouse films: Planet Terror and Death Proof.

I havn't seen a movie in a while. I can't afford it, really. This makes me sad.

I did see Harold and Kumar a few months ago with my friends though, so I guess it's not all that bad.

That movie was so funny.

I haven't seen any of those. The last movies I bought were Cloverfield and The Kingdom with Jamie Foxx, so, yeah, it's been awhile since I've watched anything more recent. But they were both pretty good. I liked Cloverfield more because of the scope of destruction and devastation. I like watching movies like that, especially on dreary days when it's raining and thunderstorming, it creates the perfect atmosphere, for me anyway.

I haven't seen any of the summer blockbusters that have come out recently (I know, what the hell's wrong with me?) but I'm most definitely going to go see The Dark Knight when it comes out.

I just watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and that was actually surprisingly funny. Dracula Muppet Rock Operas are pretty rad.

Yeah, I know... not to mention the gas you use going there. I just wait for pretty much everything to hit DVD and then I check it out from the library. I can't wait for Harold and Kumar to arrive. :D

Hmm... thats not a bad idea...

I wonder if I can request videos for my local library. I probably could...

But yeah, I can't afford buying, renting, or watching movies. And even without a car, using up Bus and subway fares adds up ,especially since its 2 bucks a ride. Can't wait to graduate college and get a decent paying job... :(

I still kinda want to see it. It's just really low on my priority list right now. There's always something else I'd rather watch.

Yeah, I enjoyed it. I had a few issues with it, but overall, it was quite enjoyable. I look forward to the sequel. Hopefully, they'll give Starscream some more screen time.

It was definitely a good there and then movie - I especially like the religious/apocalyptic fervour becoming the means to an end - just won't be telling my grandkids about it.

Well, if your local library is worth anything, it should be able to get ahold of any video you want. I work at the Denver Public Library, and whatever videos they don't have in their collection, they can get by working with other libraries. Once I started working there, I pretty much stopped renting and buying movies, and it has saved me a ton of money.

The Godfather is a classic. The Godfather II is one of the few expections to the rule that sequels never surpass their originals.

Yeah the herky-jerky style camerwork took me some getting used to, but I got into it once the action started happening. It kinda gave me a feeling of being there as it all went down, that was pretty cool. And Foxx was pretty good. I liked how it all just built up into an explosive climax at the end.

Hell, the last movie I've seen at the theater was LOTR: Return of the King. and I ended up seeing that one by myself. :( I think I owe it to myself to check this one out, being that I loved Batman Begins.

You don't really have to worry about Godfather III. It was nowhere near as good as the first two.

Normally I would have done the same thing, but after seeing it on a big screen it feels like it won't have near as much of its wow factor in the living room. If you're gonna see it I'd recommend the theater for this one.

I watched a stoner comedy not too long back called Smiley Face. It stars Anna Faris and John Krasinski and it basically follows Faris' character, Jane, as she travels around Los Angeles completely stoned. It was very funny, so if you're into that kind of premise, check it out. Seriously.

In the last 2 weeks or so I've seen Wall-E, The Diving Bell and The Butterfly, Mallrats, and American Psycho. Wall-E was good but not quite as good as I expected after the crazy amount of praise it got (it's still ranked #21 on imdb's best movies list!). I really enjoyed The Diving Bell and the Butterfly a lot, especially the cinematography. I didn't really like Mallrats much and was pretty dissapointed as a fan of the Clerks movies. American Psycho was...interesting to say the least and Christian Bale was great in it. American Psycho was also filled with excellent quotes, "Duct tape. I need it for... taping something."

Saw Hancock on Tuesday and The Dark Knight yesterday. Hancock was all right for a bit of entertainment but The Dark Knight was just all round brilliant. The story never got lost in the action and Heath Ledger just puts in a brilliant performance, should definitely win somthing for it.

I recommend renting out Night Watch/ Day Watch It's about the forces of Light and Darkness etc, great action sequences.

Has anybody also seen Gabriel? Suprisingly good for a seemingly low budget movie.
