Isn't there some kind of filler I can use to patch them up? They're on the back of the neck.

Or should I just not worry about them? Guitars are supposed to get dented, right?

They're probably from the capo because there are lots of grooves at the back of the top of the headstock where the capo is kept.

If they are very big and bothersome you can get some wood filler or epoxy and put that on and just use a light grit sand paper to smooth it. some stuff like this http://www.blanchford.co.uk/acatalog/ronseal_woodfilertub2.jpg or http://img.alibaba.com/photo/10835564/Rion_Epoxy_Steel_Adhesive_Glue_Compound.jpg the wood filler would be best.

I'd just leave them then if they don't get in the way of your playing.

There isn't really too much you can do unless you wish to try sanding it but the end product is your neck will look out of place for having a lighter patch, or you can get it replaced but that will be costly, so if you sand it out it will require some very very fine sand papers that wont risk damaging over a wider area of the initial dent. if successful apply some varnish. If in any doubt go to your local guitar shop they will advice you freely. Or better yet they can give you a deal to fix it.

If the guitar still plays the same then I don't need to worry about them do I? I read up that it's common for people to get marks from their capo on their guitar.

Yeah if it still plays fine then you shouldn't have a problem. The only time you'd need to replace the neck is if you ether snapped it off or if the head breaks (which I've done before on my electric). Capo's can mark it due to the pressure applied, but they shouldn't burrow deep marks into it.

Yeah they're just minor dents on the headstock and back of the neck at the first few frets.

As long as it's not effecting the grip which being only minor I imagine it isn't? You should be fine for the mean time.

Don't worry about it too much, it's only the back of the neck so nobody will really see it that much right? And plus, when you're rockin' out with some dents in your guitar it looks pretty hardcore. Trust me on this one. ;)
