Not to mention all the fine productions out of Ghibli, which turned me from my anime-hating ways.

Now being serious, there's actually quite a bit of good anime out there......give it a chance instead of just saying it sucks without actually having seen that much anime (I'm only assuming since that's usually the case with some people...).

LOL. You Americans and Dragonball Z and Naruto... I pity you... there are so many other anime that are better than those two. Someone mentioned Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop, which is a start, but even those are just the tip of the iceberg of truly great anime...

I do too. Some anime is truly good, while others are just weird, and some is just plain bad.....Like Naruto and Dragonballs.

I agree, and anyways The english dubbed animes suck, the original japanese voices are much better

In fact, I watched a little of the Japanese dub, and it doesn't suck as much.

But you need to agree...that is one ****ing terrible catchphrase. 

I enjoy Naruto thoroughly and I realise how corny and dragged out it can be out time, it's too addictive for it's own good.

 But there is such a large variety of anime for anyone, watching in subtitles with Japanese is ideal. I enjoy long animes because I don't want to say goodbye to my favorite characters, but the shorter, richer stories are where it is at. Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, Scrapped Princess, Eureka Seven, Elfen Lied and so much more. 

 And the Dragonball series is pretty terrible. ;-(

I actually like some of the dubbed anime......I mean, I can watch at least half of my anime collection in english. Because personally, I don't really care how much of the dialogue gets changed (except if it's anime like Naruto, One Piece, etc) because as long as their voices sound natural (the most important thing to me about dubbing), I'll watch it like that.....& I actually prefer certain english versions over the Japanese......so the dubbing in anime really isn't all that bad.....you just gotta give it a chance ;)

i really don't see why so many ppl hate Naruto. i only hate the english dub bcuz its annoying and he says Believe IT! all the time, in the original (*** version) he hardly if not never says Believe It.dak_phoenix

Actually it means nothing at all. It's just something random that Naruto adds onto the end of almost all of his lines to annoy us.

No, you'll have a lot of hot anime babes thrown at you, then get turned into LCL. 

I don't like Dragon Balls either, if I wanted to see people get all constipated, I would go to a Taco Bell.

anyway, the only Anime I don't like is the stuff on Fox and the WB on Saturday mornings (thanks for making Kirby all stupid, Fox:x).  and I don't mind English translations, since I can't speak Japanese and have no choice:P.

Dragonball Z sucks, this is not new. Watch something actually good before judging anime.
