God the series was going in such a bad direction, Tim Burton nailed it, then it got toyed with, then Nolan made it good.
Remember how bad these movies were

Poison Ivy is hot and Mr. Freeze is the best reason to watch that one. Batman Forever has nothing going for it.I liked Batman Forever quite a bit as a kid, but it's been a long time since I've actually sit down and watched the film lol. I must admit that I thought Batman & Robin was even okay back then, but now it's just an awesome comedy.

At least that version has some lulz to it.
Nolans movies are the best of the bunch. Burtons movies are the runners up merely for the fact they still had a little of that same campy atmophere that existed in the original Batman TV show.BumFluff122This. Nolan took Batman back to its roots, where the original Detective Comics were dark and gritty. Burton had a mix, which wasn't bad. Nolan just restored Batman back to the badass he was always supposed to be.

He didn't really lie the first time though. Currently, Nightwing, who was once Robin, has taken up the mantle of the Bat while Bruce Wayne himself is gone. Believed to be dead. Bruce's son, also son of Talia al Ghoul, grandson of Ras al Ghoul, became Robin. So Dick Grayson, is Batman. Formerly the first Robin.[QUOTE="Laihendi"][QUOTE="BumFluff122"]K I lied. I'm sure he'll turn up again after all the new series are set in place.Hopefully if Nolan decides to add Robin, he won't do it in a way that kills the franchise like what happened last time. LaihendiRobin would basically have to be a bum of sorts. A rough kid from the streets that Bruce decides to take in and mentor. Typical Robin backstory. Only this kid would have to have a pretty twisted past that motivates him into being Batman's right hand man. But less of a sidekick, and more as an ally. If Nolan could pull it off, I'd pay to see it. So long as someone like Shia Lebouf isn't playing the part of Robin. I'd think someone like Joseph Gordon Levitt might pull off a decent Dick Grayson.
I highly doubt they will kill Bruce off though. I'm sure he'll turn up again after all the new series are set in place.BumFluff122Time will tell. That's one series I wouldn;t mind keeping a close eye on.

For me the Burton Batman and The Dark Knight were my favorites. My Ratings are:
Batman- 9.0, Dark Knight- 9.0, Batman Returns- 8.5, Batman Begins- 8.0, Batman Forever- 5.0, Batman and Robin- 2.5
The worst scene in the whole movie series was when Batman pulled out a credit card, sigh....
You would have loved the original television series then if you liked the whole Batman credit card fiasco. For me the Burton Batman and The Dark Knight were my favorites. My Ratings are:

Batman and Robin, on the other hand, was one of the worst "action" movies I've ever seen. No wonder Arnold got out of the movie business.
When I was a kid it was good but I liked tim burtons batman better. The riddler was semi good in the movie.
