No doubt, I enjoyed watching Forever once, but that's all I've watched it and probably will be. Jim Carrey was a good Riddler, TLJ was a good Harvey Dent. Kilmer, don't remember that well, guess I will be watching it again after all.Compare to Batman & Robin, it's a masterpiece

I liked Batman Forever. Since this is a batman thread, this must be posted for no other relevant reason.
Yeah, it sucks. But, as mentioned, it's nowhere near as bad as Batman & Robin. I don't think any of the films have really come as close to replicating the style of the comics as Batman: The Animated series did.
Kiss from a Rose by Seal. Its a good song. Has this thread been made because someone has made on called 'I hate Gamestop Forever' and you're hoping to get in to someones sig?I like Batman Forever song, Kiss the rose or something...

[QUOTE="MoonMarvel"][QUOTE="BumFluff122"]You would have loved the original television series then if you liked the whole Batman credit card fiasco.BumFluff122This is a joke? He said he didn't like it...So joking?I never joke. No I said I didn't like that scene. The problem with Forever and the other one was that Batman is usually a very dark character and his first two were very good at showing that. For the other two you can pretty much call them children movies. You might has well given Batman a red clown nose and clown shoes after that fiasco. And yes I enjoyed the Adam West series.
I remember it was Hold me, Thrill me, Kiss me by U2, and I like that song actually (which is very weird for me since i hate U2)I like Batman Forever song, Kiss the rose or something...

Batman Forever is kind of a guilty pleasure of mine, I know it's not that great but I think Tommy Lee Jones and Jim Carrey's performances are so over the top that it can be fun to watch. Batman & Robin, however, was horrid and rightfully deserves its billing as one of the worst major motion pictures ever madekfjlThats exactly how i feel about the movie. Although Tim Burton's "Batman" was the better movie, Batman Forever was much more entertaining to watch. I still hated though how no director followed the comic adaptation very well, but thats where Christopher Nolan came in. :P
Im even glad for Batman and Robin (even though it was horrible) because it wasn't for that these songs wouldn't have came out

Despite no one caring for the songs until 10 years later :P
Anyone know of a site I can read about Batman's comic book storyline history, then and now? I used to collect batman comics, but stopped after college. [QUOTE="BumFluff122"][QUOTE="Toriko42"] Robin should just not existRobin was Nightwing which became Batman now that Batman's dead and Batman's son is now Robin. the Batman wiki page is your best betferyl06
Do you mean you hate Batman Forever or you hate Batman forever? lol. jk. It seems like I thought that one was ok when I saw it. However, I can't say the same about Batman & Robin. That movie... well... I'm not gonna go there :) Let's just say, I think Governor Schwarzenegger became governor so he could eventually get to a high enough position to somehow eliminate that movie from every store shelf, every home, and somehow erase people's memory of it.
God the series was going in such a bad direction, Tim Burton nailed it, then it got toyed with, then Nolan made it good.
Remember how bad these movies were :lol:Toriko42
I think you need to chill. Arnold: Allow me to break the ice. My name is Freeze. Learn it well. For it's the chilling sound of your doom.Let's just say, I think Governor Schwarzenegger became governor so he could eventually get to a high enough position to somehow eliminate that movie from every store shelf, every home, and somehow erase people's memory of it.

Nolans movies are the best of the bunch. Burtons movies are the runners up merely for the fact they still had a little of that same campy atmophere that existed in the original Batman TV show.BumFluff122actually i thought Burtons wasn't close enough to the comics. i mean he had batman flying down shooting at joker and his men. Nolan's was the best.
