Obvious troll is obvious, there is no use getting worked up about it or even trying to apply logic here.

Yes, thank you for clarifying what I'm already aware of. I'm not getting worked up. :3 That's not my overly serious post.

[QUOTE="3DSOG"]I read it. Yeah I know teenager triceratops. But thats the point exactly. It's taking something that we viewed as "truth" and blatantly saying it isn't "Truth"

Except there didn't exist a form of writing back then that dinosaurs could use to say "HEY THIS SPECIES OF DINOSAUR WAS KNOWN AS A TRICERATOPS!" Whereas there were written documents from George Washington's day that prove he existed.

People find "supposebly" similarities between a dead religion and an active one. Then wanna automatically claim that that religion is false just because it has similarities off a false religion. And yes, I'm calling greek mythology a false religion. Sorry to all you "PERCY JACKSON" fans.3DSOG

Um.....The Greek religion isn't dead, there are still alot of followers to it (3000people and growingin Greece alone). Many families managed to worship in secret over the century's. its the same thing with Roman Polytheists, Asatru (Norse gods, growing very fast in denmark). Its very hard to kill a religon. And going around sayingother peoples religion is a real **** move.

Christians believe in jesus the same way egyptians were so sure about Ra. So what if there was a guy named jesus, doesnt mean he could do what he said he could might just have been some crazy guy - the more impressive thing will be if you could prove a god exists. Pretty boring god if he does exist, imagine if we had gods that came to earth and fought...... god of war style.

Then, by your logic, Alexander the Great never existed. By your logic, a lot of historical figures never existed. No one is saying Jesus didn't exist. You mentioned mythology. Christianity doesn't mean just mean Jesus, either. This thread is no longer serious.

So you say your opinion and suddenly it nullifies my topic?

Well it's what you've been doing to everyone in this thread...

[QUOTE="JinjonatorX"][QUOTE="3DSOG"] How is it NOT logical? They DONT have dna testing they DONT have blood samples of Washington's relatives NO PHOTOS NO DNA JUST A CORPSE AND SOME PAINTINGS. those all could easily be faked. Grab a random guy's body. Draw a picture of the supposably "George washington" Fake some stories and you got yourself a war hero3DSOG
You realize that would involve a conspiracy the likes of which would make even National Treasure wet itself. And a pointless conspiracy at that. So do you also believe all the other presidents didn't exist too? Abraham Lincoln? JFK? Maybe Obama is a robot, I mean, has anyone hear ever met him? Hell, YOU might not exist. I've seen no evidence that you do. Stop posting.

Abraham lincoln has a photograph JFK has video of himself and tv broadcasts Also, it makes no sense if i dont exist. I havent done anything significant nor have given you my name. To you right now im just a person. If im just a person how can i be fake if by making up a person you are substituting an average joe's life for something more extravagant. And since I am typing right now. I am a person. A.I this advanced doesn't exist . In laymans terms I am typing thus I am a human You don't know me thus I can't not be real. If i posed as someone famous then yeah. It's like thois If you don't know who I am, yet i am blanketing my life with that of somebody famous "Someone who cured cancer or something" Then thats my only persona For you to see through that persona and judge it as false. Would destroy my only persona you know. thus i would not exist because my only persona was the one that you knew. But you found out it was false. Thus you have no more personas to go by me.

I laughed

Ah, brings back memories of my arguments on here when I was 12 :)

Same thing could be said about PCs gaming.

You're both wrong. As long as people have faith in a higher power (meaining as long as we don't fully explore the workings of the universe and our existence leading to our discovery of an existence with or without such a divine being...which will be practically never) religion will exist in some form.

And PC pwns console ass.

I didn't say that pc is dying.

I don't believe in Greek Mythology either TC, and I do strongly believe in God and in His son Jesus Christ.

I love this one - "So if you believe in God, then you must believe Santa Clause exists as well." As was told to me by one ignorant Atheist I met before. I was too busy laughing at the comment and took me awhile to get my composure to be able to reply to him.

And I hate it when they call christian history "christian mythology" It isn't mythology people. Do we call the revolutionary war "american mythology" no we don't. There is nothing SIMILAR about christianity and greek mythology. Maybe 1 or 2 things but that really doesn't explain anything. J.k rowling's book is similar to Lord of the rings. Does that mean it directly copies it? The point im making is. People find "supposebly" similarities between a dead religion and an active one. Then wanna automatically claim that that religion is false just because it has similarities off a false religion. And yes, I'm calling greek mythology a false religion. It's actually a valid point. There was a point in time where Norse Mythology, Egyptian Mythology and Greek Mythology were Greek Religion, Egyptian Religion, and Norse Religion. What gives people the right to say these religions are proven wrong? To me that's a thing an elitist christian would do.

Christian mythology is just a term used to describe Biblical myths and legends. I don't see how the word in any way implies an equivalency between Christianity and Greek or Nordic beliefs.

Actually, it IS mythology, by the word's very definition. As in: a supernatural series of fables that account for historical and or scientific events rather than texts grounded in the (naturalistic) reality we know of today.
