What are your criteria for "cool"? LA is a big place, you have to narrow it down a bit.thegergidk like a nice park or something entertaining where can make small talk and make out lol or something worth seeing.
But I don't want to get fat! =O!!Mcdonalds.
prove you love her for her personality but not caring about how fat she gets.

lolbring her to a restaurant you know is closed. When you bring her there, act surprised. Then invite her to your place, order pizza, and engage physically. Diviniuz
This man is a genius.
It depends on the girl. Is it a spur of the moment kinda date with a random person or is it someone you know quite well?Chances are the better you know them, the harder they'll be expecting you to try. With someone random keep it fairly neutral but throw in the odd curveball to try and set yourself apart from the other members of the eternal meat grinder that is human social interaction. Edit: But if you are anything like Coach McGuirk in real life, you'd better hope shes crazy haha.[QUOTE="Diviniuz"]bring her to a restaurant you know is closed. Eh, see, this is the kind of nonsense you see on TV. In real life a date should just be two people having a nice night out, not a game of cat and mouse and coniving and deciet and trickery to get some desired outcome. If the two people like each other they'll go out again and you won't need to play games. =/Somewhere very cheap because as you needed to ask for advice on here you can bet there wont be a second dateEmpCompshh how rude... I just wanted to see what the masters of romance in OT could come up with lol

No-one likes the games dude, but thats how most women operate, albeit to varying extents. If it turns out that she honestly doesnt care though, threadstarter, consider yourself lucky.[QUOTE="EmpCom"]Somewhere very cheap because as you needed to ask for advice on here you can bet there wont be a second dateCoolSkAGuypshh how rude... I just wanted to see what the masters of romance in OT could come up with lolHaha, youd do better to post on a forum full of virgins. Oh wai... Seriously though, maybe theres one full of bitter, lonely women somewhere that might tell you their ideal first date? Then you can do the opposite of that, assuming this girl has some stability

As I haven't been out that way in a long time, I can't say as to who or what plays there. I know that the likes of Led Zeppelin and Hendrix have hung out there. Who knows who you may be run into. The place is a rock icon.

Iconic yes, though Id call it a landmark myself. Grammar Nazi, me? haha And yeah basically through the 80's it played host to all the popular hair metal bands of the time, and Metallica.[QUOTE="WhiteKnight77"][QUOTE="LeonardHatred"]What if she doesnt listen to hair metal? LeonardHatred

I was stationed out that way back in the 80s. I also liked that place out in San Pedro though I can't remember the name of the place. They would have several bands a night. I got so wasted upstairs while we were all rocking out (there was even a Japanese rock band there the night we went).
