110 is about average. The average IQ goes up every generation, but I think it's around 110-115 or so.

Maybe it wouldn't range that low, but I'm afriad it could be well below average. My friends are all so much smarter than me, and they make fun of me for it. I think I'll just try to avoid this friggin test for as long as I can. Ignorance is bliss right?

I took an IQ test online like 5 years back and it said I was like 128 to 134- somewhere in that range :\ heh

If you're at all good at Tetris, you should do fine in an IQ test.

I don't really imagine how there could be a much of a connection between the two... I doubt all people with 140 are amazing at Tetris, let alone decent.

I have not took one in years. I doubt that I would get a high rating. 110 is good.

I have here the record form from the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) IV that I took in March this year.

Full scale IQ of 131 which places me in the 98th percentile with a 95% confidence interval from 126-134.

Strongest area of mental ability is working memory with a composite score of 148 (99.9th percentile, 95% confidence interval 138-152).

Weakest area was processing speed with a composite score of 102 (55th percentile, 95%confidence interval 93-110). I like to think about things a lot before making a decision. Unfortunately this means that none of my friends want to play Chess with me anymore :(

Lots more details on a standard form but those are some of the basics.

That's within the average range, which is 100-120 or so. I remember taking an IQ test when I was in fifth grade... the doctor administering the test said I fell just below the line of genius, which really irritated me (so close!), but not enough to give it a second try, lol. Those are long tests!

Ultimately, it doesn't mean anything, though... the test focuses on certain types of intelligence, all the while hinging the results on your ability to take a test effectively.

To be in the gifted program at my school you had to be over 125...which was stupid we never really did anythign meaning full in those classes
