see that is what i was talking about as an example of sorts. though now i must argue against it and say. woody allen is no scientist. but he is right about the sex thing. however sex is far off from killing. as men look to spread their seed as much as possible. women look for one who would be the best for creating a child. that is imbeded in the human mind and that is how we have progressed as humans. killing on the other hand. when killing is left to a fight for survival such as in the wilderness when one must kill for food, or say in a combat scenario when you have a gun being shot at you in a kill or be killed scenario a woman is just as capable as a man.

Plain and simple - YOU DO NOT HIT WOMEN. PERIOD.  I don't care if someboby thinks it's a double standard or not. If she did you wrong, you find another way to make her pay for it, I perfer public humilation.  For your sake you better hope she doesn't have an brother or an male family member come look for you. I had someone harassing my sister - a male about 7 years ago.  Thought he was the man for slapping her, In front of me none the less.  I gave him an oppitunity to apologize civily, he punched me in the face and told me to **** off, he's dating her and it's none of my business.  I remember picking up a bat and pulling back to swing at him before I blanked out.  When I calmed down, I was sitting in the back of a patrol car almost in tears as the ambulance carried him off with a broken jaw, right hand and cracked ribs, not realizing I did that to him. If you know me in real life, I'm as dangerous as a bag of wet hair.  But the second he touched her, it was a different story.  Take this as a precaution...apologize to her and find a way to make ammends, because you never know...she might have a big brother, too.

Think about it, you get made fun of. Some how, I am having feeling that you are not stating all of the details...

Anyhow, regardless of that, with that being said, from what I have read, the problem is that you should have not reacted so easily with physical force.....the fact that the person who suffered as result was female, in my mind, does not matter, because regardless of the gender, you should have not reacted in that kind of aggressive and unnecessary matter without having legit reasoning.....being "teased" is not something I would call being "legit."

In another words, if she would have been male, in the same exact situation, in my mind, is still would have been incorrect......

Edit: If anything, after failure of the "walking away" tatic, if you are being truthful, you should have put her "in here place" with words, not action. Question why she is bothering you? Why she feels need to make others feel bad? You know, in sense, use her own logic against her, however, do so in some what more respectful matter (remember, if you are truly in the "right," you will do so without going into her level or lower unless it becomes necessary). 

Bottom line is that you should have made her realize how pathetic she was being (revil her own insecurities she likely was having), while, at the same time, should have shown that you were "pround" of being the person that you are.....

If that would have not worked (and if you would have tried to walk away, again, after this point), than, it would have been some what more understandable if you would have reacted with phsyical force, however, if would have reached that point, I think something along the lines of slap in the face would have been much better in that kind of situation......
