I used to work at walmart. Working the cash is horrible but maybe after a few weeks you could ask the manager about a position in one of the departments. Easiest job ever...except around Christmas time.

Should be like any other part time job, you'll make friends, hate the customers, love the money, and dislike the work. You'll do fine.Im_singlewell said. i think that goes for full time jobs as well. lol
it's ok, better then working in the food industry. I use to work at Wal-Mart as well, the hours were kind of redonkulous but it was pretty fun
[QUOTE="SolidSnake35"]I work at the UK equivalent. It's decent... Good pay and easy work. Can't ask for more as a student.Bourbons3Agreed. Supermarkets usually pay pretty well given the amount of work that is required. My job pays well enough for sitting at a till. I don't go on the tills much. I'm usually in the warehouse, out of sight and out of mind. >.>
My brother worked as a cashier for Wal-Mart before he went to college and he seemed to at least not hate it. I don't think it;s all that bad.
Wal-Mart is probably the cheapest company to work for on Earth.
From what i hear they make you work overtime without compensating, no benefeits, and they'll fire you on a whim.
I wouldn't expect much less from a company that makes billions off of foreign slave labour.
If you're just working part time temprarily then who cares its all you need but i wouldn't try and make a career out of it thats for sure.
