I have pretty bad ears where my ears doesn't drain the fluids behind the ear drumbs very well, therefore will impair my hearing... I wouldn't be able to hear normal voices in the room, and would have to make people shout out.

Today I had my tubes replaced in my ear drumbs and they drained all fluids, and I totally hear things that I never usually pick up. I'm soo excited, like right now, I never noticed how friggin LOUD my keyboard is when I type HAHA.

Have you had any similar experiences that helped you hightened your senses?

No I've never gone through anything like that. But it's cool how you're getting re-adjusted to hearing things. You're bound to take even the smallest of sounds in with great appreciation now.

When you get an ear infection, you really begin to appreciate how nice it is to hear things....

I had ear problems a few months ago, but it fixed itself.

I guess when I got glasses.

Interesting....magic glasses?

if only

I just have bad vision, so things are a lot more clearer when I wear glasses. Might get contacts soon.

Then I assume you mean you've had eye problems, unless ofcourse there's a way sharp glasses will increase your hearing:P

Ouch, I guess stereo headphones are out of the question :(. I heard there's a chip you can put into your head that helps deaf people hear ... just fyi, I'm not sure how effective it is.

Not I. Although, if I were in your position, i'd totally listen to new genres of music. Would be interesting to find out you were actually a fan of music you used to hate, or hate music you used to love.

I get some really bad growing pains from time to time still, you don't appreciate how much you rely on your knees until they start sending signals to your brain saying "this is what being stabbed feels like".

thats good news TC. as for me... meditation has heighten my senses, my mind and my income. idk why most ppl don't try it. you can solve any problem in life if you just take the time to really think about it. a problem can not exist without a solution, ppl are just in a rush and too busy to ponder these days. enough with my rambling, again happy to hear you can hear...no pun intended.

congrats on your successful surgery - personally i've never had anything that heightened by senses.

mind you i am asthmatic, when they first diagnosed and treated that it was like a whole new world. could finally breath properly and do outdoor stuff most kids take for granted.
