I just heard that my grandmother died.

My mother died when I was very young so my grandma was my world, she was my dad, mom, everything. I havent seen her for 3 years cuz I am in Canada right now, I was suppose to visit my grandma in next summer in Turkey. I cant believe this, I think thsi is just a bad dream.

I can't really make you feel better or offer you advice, but I hope you'll overcome this loss soon. It'll hurt for awhile, but try and keep your chin up. That's about all I can say really.

did she experience constant freezing/glitching before finally going? how many lights were flashing when they tried to get her back on? sounds like a hardware failure. i suggest you get a new one as i dont think grandmothers are under warranty anymore, or you can always ring up customer support and see if they can repair yours.

Damn your mom and grandmother. I'm very, very sorry to hear that. Losing my grandmother was devastating but she had Alzheimers for years so it was no shock. My mom on the other hand, we talk every few days, and her and dad only live 5 miles away, at 34, I still can't imagine life without them.

Yea I know that bad dream feeling, That's how I felt when my big brother died, I just wanted it to be a dream that I could wake up from. But it eventually sank in.

Some of you posters are quite appalling, the TC just lost the woman who raised him and you make jokes???

TC I know what you're going through, and no words I or anyone else can say will bring you comfort. I lost my Grandmother 3 months ago, and like you she was also the one who raised me. It was the worst time in my life, it feels so unreal and you want to wake up but that never happens.

All I can say is things get better with time. Don't be afraid to let your emotions out as well.
