I've seen it, I didn't really like that. It is a powerful movie though.DarkPrinceXC
yeah It's not exactly an easy watch. It's not surprizing that many people haven't seen it.
Good film, one of the few David Lynch films I like. Film-Guy
yeah David Lynch isn't for everyone. And the elepahnt man doesn't have as much crazy stuff as lynch usually likes. And btw, charlie has a beard... so WELCOME to the League of AVatar Beardsmen! A proud bastion sporting such great members as ME, YOU and PIANIST!
Yeah it is great... but nowhere near the best Lynch film... he is best when he is weird. Samwel_X
Yeah, even though I found mullholland dr a more exiting movie to watch. I can't say I fully grasped it. So I guess The Elephant Man is a movie that's easier to understand and appriciate, at least for me.

Not a Lynch fan :o Call yourself Film_Guy >_>
I think he tries to hard to be weird and dark, plus the dedicated Lynch fans who discuss his films for hours on end irritate me. I kinda liked Blue Velvet, Twin peaks, and Dune though.

I hated Dune... I don;t think it is that he tries too hard I just think that is what is natural to him. If you have ever seen his early short films or his actual artwork you can see that his head is a very strange place. I ignore the fact that they are weird and rather try to pick out thongs thematically that have relevance to me as a person, as well as watching an exciting visual spectacle.
