I know the plot of the 2009 pixar movie!!

A young being tries to overcome surroundings to meet their goal.

If history repeats itself, Pixar repeats itself. All of their stories revolve around 1 person trying to get what they wish through obstacles.

Ratatoui- Mouse wanting to become a cook, has trouble fitting in

Cars- Car wants to get the Piston cup and tries to overcome surroundings.

Finding Nemo- Fish wants to find his way home through unkown areas and fish

Wall E- Robot out of millions of them wants to find a way to fulfill his dream

I doubt I need to go on.

And if Disney is heavily involved, you know the mood is going to go like this:

Very happy for opening scene

Sudden "dramatic" event (Nemo goes missing, etc.)

Characters close to the character who is the victim of said event become sad

New character pops in, sings song, happy times are afoot again

New character and those who were depressed find some obstacle, overcome it

Characters all meet up finally and achieve their goal. Songs ensue.

I've always considered them films for kids. :| They're a little more fast-paces so that that parents can sit through it and not hate it, but i think they're definately aimed at children.

Pixar's films aren't meant to be groundbreaking or philosophical or anything. There just supposed to be entertaining, which they largely succeed at.
