I like this girl in my High School class but im too shy.

Shes from russia and has a thick accent, its really cute and shes pretty. I dont ink she has many friends, id like to be her friend but i dont know how i can approach her and tell her i want to be her friend and maybe be her boyfriend, what should i do? Im also self conscious about my weight since my doctor said im 65 pound overweight. Im 15 and weight 200ish. How should i approach her, a poem? Or slip her some vodka(j/k). Do i even stand a chance? Uhhh, i have such low confidence, what if i get turned down infront of everyone and get embarrased?Second_Hokage

you said you don't think she has many friends, so she would probably like it if people came up and talked to her, so do that.

I'm sorry, but it is real late and after the 25th of December I really could do without people downtalking to me, or acting like I am stupid. You dont know what I am referring to then ask around. Dont mean to be pissed but I am really getting angry.

Btw kid if your weight really bothers you just do these 4 things. . .

1. Eat 3 times daily of Fruits and veggies (ONLY FRUITS AND VEGGIES) Have two apples and a banana for breakfast, veggies lunch, veggies dinner or h.e you want to do it. If school doesn't have veggies or fruits, skip lunch at school and just eat a something when you get home before dinner.
2. go for a jog twice a day (morning, and 1 hour after dinner) and wear a trash bag as a shirt (with a shirt under it) and then put a jacket on. . It'll help you sweat more. .
3. Drink water 3 times a day (bottled water) make sure your first bottle (before breakfast) is hot like tea. Drink it hot so it could clear out the fat you burned while you were sleep. Your goal is to burn 10-15 lbs a month.
4. Stretch first thing in the morning and before you go to sleep. (physical therapy. . . it helps)

follow this and you'll see results fast.

My bad you guys, just responding to a "convienent" thread if you catch my drift. That's why I was pissed.

We have all been there at some point kid, I say just get more confidence and self esteem. I'm not sure how High School dating works though, I didn't start going out with women until I was 19 so I'm only familiar with adult relationships, sorry hope this helps. But that's what works for me anyway.

Although if you want to lose weight and become more healty then just excercise more and avoid junk food. But everyone should take care of themselves no matter what, not just becasue you want a girlbut becasue it wll make you happy and live longer.

You might have a small (really want to stress small) chance but realistically no you won't end of dating her.

Well, you're not going to be able to get her by just sitting around, just go for it.

You need to use a russian accent as well.

Guess i'll just have to go to Eastern Europe and find one myself some day :P They are usually far more interesting and attractive than local girls.

Anyway, if it was me in your situation I would probably start off by trying talking to her in her own language. She would probably be glad that someone else in the class is actually interested in her culture and dialect. I couldn't tell you exactly what to say but you should practice some words you'd like to say to her in Russian by using google translate. I used books, music and online programs to teach myself russian. But I am basically Russian anyway (Russian Grandparents) so their culture, literature and music just seem natural to me.

So good luck, hope you end up asking her out.

1. It won't work because Russians only wanna date other Russians and thats what her parents will want.

2. Russians are strange, trust me I worked with one. They have different humour then Westerners. Much of our humour at least with my coworker seemed to make him angry like he thought jokes were direct insults to him and would challenge people to fights because he didn't understand things.

3. They're deeply emotional but hide this by putting on a tough exterior, and extremely loyal people. Once I got on this guys good side and he was probably the most loyal person you could know. Invites to dinner, offers to help anything at all.

4. Being shy with a russian will make them think you're too weak and gay you have to be loud and verbose.

If you are shy, you will never get a [hot] girl.
