I don't understand why people hate it. Unhealthy? Of course, but tell me it's not delicious.
I could go for a Whopper with fries right now.

Fast food is fine as long as you're not fatToriko42Yeah but fast food will (not can) make you fat. I worked at McDonald's for a year and gained over 30 lbs from eating too often.

Actually I know a lot of people who hate it because of it's taste. I call them dumb people.People dont hate it. They just hate that it's so unhealthy. But it tastes pretty good.

[QUOTE="chaoscougar1"]It is nice one or twice a week, definitely needs to be balanced out thoughDavidJF
That is way too much fast food! Twice a week seriously?! I try not to fast food at all and have it maybe once a month if not at all.
1-2 out of 21 meals a week is completely fine, even if you don't exercise.....Fast food is just as good and healthy as any other food, save for trans-fats. But the amount eaten would have to be pretty high to have any significant impact IMO. People only get fat on fast food because its calorie dense and people underestimate their true energy intake. Also it tastes awesome.The_ZoidWhat about lack of exercise? :O

But at the same time I believe fast food restaurants are a scapegoat for obesity issues. If people actually got educated about how the body works instead of "Oh I walked a lot today and ran on the treadmill for 30 minutes I bet I completely burned off that burger and shake" it wouldn't be a problem. Exercise would only work so far, overall dietary habit improvement would make all the difference.

Fast food is great as long as you eat it in moderation.

This. I could eat mcdonalds every day for a month and probably not gain a pound.
I remember one day where I was on my lunch break from my summer job and McDonald's had a deal going on where you buy one mac, you get the 2nd for a $1. So my boss and I went there and got that deal. He only managed to finish one and he gave me his 2nd big mac so I had 3 as a bet that I couldn't do it. Won $20 but never felt more disgusting in my life and felt sick for the rest of the afternoon.Just got back from McDonalds. Got a BigMac combo. Mmmmmm... :)
