i miss the 90s because all the legends like MJ,Magic Johnson and Scottie Pippen played in that time. Also now the NFL is so protected anything is a flag in the 90s its was a lot more free and looser
Two things that I liked better about the 90's:
I can remember the whole neighborhood being outside EVERY DAY. We'd all be down by somebody's house playing basketball, or riding bikes, playing football in people's yards, baseball in the street with a tennis ball and a the crappiest bat you ever saw.
And it was like that even for the older kids as well... like high school age. A bunch of high school aged kids would be playing basketball at somebody's house... people chilling in the yard waiting for the next game, people in the garage chilling, listening to music while watching the game.
Now, there is hardly anybody outside. There are usually some really little kids riding their bikes and stuff, but nothing like it used to be.
Another thing I liked about the 90's was the NBA. I just liked that era better than the era now. However, the era now is getting pretty decent.
Hey so do I. Those were the days, when I was a kid. With no responsibility, now as I grow older, and have more responsiblity. It kinda sucks. And the music were awesome in the 90's.
Not to mention many PC games were developed on the PC FIRST and then ported to the consoles, which is the way it should be.
It was fun… a dirty fun decade. I miss certain components of it, but it isn't so bad today really...

At least the economy was better in the 90's. :) I have a lot of nostalgia for the 90's. Maybe because I was a kid back then where you view life through rose tinted glasses. Once you start to get older reality starts to set in and you realize life is not as fun when you were a kid.

Well that's true - I was 16 when the 90s broke and remember it as a fun, experimental time. Life tries to force you into being that much more serious and sensible as you get older mores the pity, hence the yearning for a return to youthful decedence!
I miss growing up and listening to Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, STP, Soundgarden, Bush, Collective Soul, and of course my favorite Nirvana on the radio when they were in their prime. I wish I could go back in time, is there anyone in OT that agrees?

If I had the chance to relive the 90's, I suppose I'd do it over again.
But I don't, so good riddance.
Yea i guess i miss the 90s too. But i think its as many of you pointed out, childhood... less responsibility, stress was a word I didn't understand, and a simple tv and genesis or later N64 was all ya needed.... i guess this is whats its like getting older... reminiscing
Still don't see what was so great in that decade.LonelynightAll I remember from the 90's was everyone talking about how much they miss the 80s.
I know what u mean man. Everything was better in the 90s. if i had a time machine, id go back and start a new life in 1995
Yeah, except I miss Pokemon and getting dunkaroos in my lunch.XilePrincess
You just hit me with a wave of nostalgia...
Dunkaroos really remind me of my childhood, and Pokémon was so awesome when it just started with the amazing first episodes and the Red/Blue games.
Childhood years are always the best. I know in a couple of years that I'll be talking about how awesome the 2000s were... :P
I would agree partly. I feel that tons of music coming out on radio stations I listened to years ago is now hip hop crap and such, although its not all bad. I love new stuff from older bands and there are some great newer bands. I still listen to my favorite band from years ago and now, Our Lady Peace :). BTW Bush is the best of the bands you listed up there :P.
