I can never comprehend why people complain about work and money stopping them from acheiving the impossible things in life like......"watching cartoons, old shows and playing video games".
How much of a grind can your life possibly be that you dont have time to squeeze in a such a mundane list of shit.
Im annoyed that my mrs' wont consider emmigrating to the other side of the world because her mother is getting old and might need care...at least....thats a fucking...diallema of sorts. I can deffo squeeze in an episode of spongebo squarepants though. Sounds like your living in the better days and you dont even know it.
It's not always about time, but often the older you get, the less interested you become. I'm almost 40 yrs old, certainly interested in games but I actually play them very little, maybe 2 hrs one week and none the other or I may play 16 hours in a week if a game is really that good then I may not play for 2 or 3 months. I have not played anything all this week but I am building a new upgrade PC....go figure. I have a collection of gaming paraphernalia on my shelves but I am far more picky than ever before and only enjoy certain types of games but I just don't feel like playing them every day. There are also other priorities or hobbies and things that need to get done around the house. So it really depends on the person, if they are married with kids, a house, 2 dogs..etc. Hard to even feel like squeezing in mundane shit.
I also like Spongebob, Ren and Stimpy and tons of old cartoons, but again, I don't often feel the mood to watch it or my wife already hogging the TV. Kids will especially hog TV's. But I just don't care to sit and watch TV much anymore like I used to. Take right now for example, my wife is over there fast asleep watching TV, I'm on the laptop on some stupid forum because it's more interactive than the TV but still doesn't require me to really do much of anything like a video game would. When I'm done typing this, I'm gonna go wake her up and try to get me some before I go to bed. So why didn't I squeeze in a game? .....I just don't really know, after I got done cooking on the grill, I felt too tired to mess with it? Will you get like that too eventually?
But I do know some guys my age that play games everyday still, but they don't really have very much. In fact I think they are all still single.
